News on Elmbridge Design Code

The Elmbridge Design Code will support the implementation of the existing Local Plan policies relating to design matters by providing more specific details on requirements and guidance on how these policies shall be implemented. It also provides guidance on the design aims as set out in the new Local Plan.

We are now entering the final consultation stage of the Design Code Project.

The consultation will commence on Monday 02 October at 9am and will run for a period of 5 weeks ending on Sunday 05 November 2023 at 23.59.

This consultation will be hosted by Common Place and will include an online questionnaire. If you seek a face-to-face response to any of your questions prior to completing the online questionnaire we are hosting two drop-in sessions to which all are welcome. There is no need to book your place.

The drop-in sessions will take place at the Civic Centre, Esher on:

• Monday 09 October between 16.00 and 18.30; and

• Tuesday 10 October between 13.00 and 15.00.
