Final week of the consultation on the Draft Elmbridge Design Code
A final consultation on the Draft Elmbridge Design Code is open until 23.59 on Sunday 05 November 2023 and you are invited to respond. If not already, please visit Common Place https://elmbridge.commonplace.is/ and let us know your views by filling in the online questionnaire. Thank you.
Consultation on the Draft Elmbridge Design Code is now open
You are invited to respond to the final consultation on the Draft Design Code.
The consultation is now open until 23.59 on Sunday 05 November 2023. It is hosted by Common Place: https://elmbridge.commonplace.is/ and includes an online questionnaire. Please let us know your views.
We are also holding two drop-in sessions at the Civic Centre, Esher. Officers will be available to talk though the content of the Draft Design Code and answer any questions you may have. There is no need to book your place.
Dates for the drop-in sessions are:
• Monday 09 October between 16.00 and 18.30; and
You are invited to express your vision ideas through a survey
We are very grateful for your support and comments to date on the development of the Elmbridge Design Code.
We held the Residents’ Visioning Workshop on Tuesday 24 January that was very well attended. However, we understand that not everyone who is interested in the Project was able to attend and therefore we have created an online survey on our Commonplace platform that is now live until 23.59 on Sunday 12 February.
The format of the survey and of the supporting short documents is the same as of those we used during the workshop. Please let us know your ideas and views on the vision how you would like your local area or neighbourhood to look and feel like in the future.
Please tell your friends, family and neighbours about the survey, as we would love to hear from everyone. Thank you.
Also, under the heading “Engagement report” we have shared the outcome of the previous face-to-face engagement we carried out in October 2022.
Residents are invited to the Visioning Workshop
We are very grateful for your support and comments to date on the development of the Elmbridge Design Code. We received a wonderful response and based on that, it’s time to work on the vision on how you would like your local area or neighbourhood to look and feel like in the future.
We would like to invite you to the visioning workshop that will take place on:
• Date: Tuesday 24 January 2023
• Timing: 5.30pm-7pm
• Location: Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, KT10 9SD
We are running this session as a face-to-face interaction however, if the numbers registering to attend exceed the capacity we have, a virtual session will run instead. This will be communicated in advance of the event.
Please register to attend confirming the area you will represent by emailing designcode@elmbridge.gov.uk as soon as possible, by 15 January 2023 at the latest.
